Moncton has a tidal-bore, which basically looks like a muddy reddish-brown river – only the water level changes up to 7.5 meters, with the tides. Apparently the locals call it the “Total Bore”. It was mildly interesting to us… We sorta wanted to collect some of its mud (we would like to start collecting sand from beaches we’ve been to) – but it looked pretty slippery and dangerous too (also still pouring rain), so we left it. This is us in a covered bridge, overlooking it. Also… They seem to have a thing for covered bridges here…

For supper, we went to Pumphouse Brewery, which was great. We drank some of their yummy beer, and ate mussels and I had a salmon sandwich and Brian had an eggplant bake. And played with our cameras and some general silliness ensued.

We thought for a long time about what on earth we could do on a rainy rainy evening after dinner while on vacation, and decided… Same thing you do at home. Go to a movie. So we went and saw Iron Man 2. We thought it was great – highly recommend it, as long as comic book movies are your thing. And on the way back to our hotel, it had stopped raining, but everything was still all shiny-wet so I thought I’d take some long exposures out the windshield. Why not?
