I love road trips, I love travel, I love new places.
I love Ziggy, I love the extra adventures she sometimes adds – like loose fuel pump ground wires. I love having an AMA membership, so we have a guy to call to come help us figure out what on Earth just happened to our van and why she just won’t go. I love having happy, laid-back people in my world, who also view these things as adventures, rather than problems.
I love the interesting little serendipitous bits that tell us we are exactly where we are supposed to be – like seeing Wolfie on the highway on our way out of town. I love figuring things out as we go, and I love finding beautiful, quiet, spots to camp in. I love the Crowsnest Pass, and I love the Rockies. I love seeing a moose randomly walk by while I’m chopping veggies for dinner. I love making supper on a Coleman stove. I love campfires. I love drinking with friends around campfires. I love night photography. I really love night photography of campsites. I love watching the stars. I love spotting satellites and shooting stars. I love finding constellations. I love the warm cozy glow of our Westy at night. I love curling up to sleep while listening to the water, the air, the trees, the mountains. I love that I can see the stars through the roof vent as I drift off to sleep at night.
I love waking up to sunshine and a soft breeze. I love tossing a frisbee around in the morning sun. I love french press coffee. I love blueberry pancakes. I love wandering up random little roads, just to see what we can see. I love finding little trickling streams and white crashing waterfalls. I love figuring out how to get to the beautiful waterfalls we can see in the distance. I love striking yoga poses on gigantic boulders. I love getting close enough to touch the waterfalls. I love the mist in the breeze on sun-hot skin. I love finding geo caches. I love stopping for lunch at Blackbird Cafe in Coleman. I love grilled cheese. I love the Cowboy Trail.
This was our past 24 hours.
I love our life.
