We are Brandi & Brian. We met in December 2006, and got married in July 2011. We live in Calgary with our three cats (Spaces, Luna & Sol). We feel that adventure is a hugely important part of life, and we take every opportunity to leave town & explore the world around us.
This blog is a way for us to keep a bit of a record of some of our travels, as well as a way for our family and friends to see what we’ve been up to lately. We are both amateur photographers, so be sure to check out our Flickr pages as well.
Our most recent addition to the family is a 1985 Volkswagen Westfalia, named Ziggy. She joined our family in August 2009, and her maiden voyage took us to Burningman & back – 5 states and 2 provinces in about 2.5 weeks. Since starting this blog in 2008 we’ve been to Europe, Jamaica, Canada’s East Coast, North America’s West Coast, plus dozens of little camping trips and road trips in Alberta and BC. Plans are underway for Honeymoon 2.0 in the Mediterranean next spring!
