Belated view above Vancouver

So, last time we posted was box­ing day and things have been a total blur since then, but you deserve an update, and the num­ber of posts we have to write are start­ing to build up! This install­ment — the remain­der of our Van­cou­ver adventure:

On Decem­ber 27th, we wound up doing absolutely noth­ing. Lit­er­ally, we were so exhausted from all the running-around and gen­eral hol­i­day shenani­gans that we decided to stay home in front of the fire­place. We played some Wii games, drank some tea, and just relaxed a bit. It was much-needed.

Early Winter Update!

Apolo­gies for the abrupt stop of blog entries some­where through our Burn­ing man trip… We didn’t get Inter­net access again on the trip, and then got caught-up in the non-travel uni­verse once we got home.

It got put off. For months. Again, apolo­gies. So now, some updates.

The rest of our Burn­ing man trip was amaz­ing. To me, it was the best of all my 4 Burns. It was really windy/dusty/stormy for a lot of it — but I can’t com­plain, the extreme cli­mate is part of what I love about

This past week­end, Brian and I had tick­ets to the No Doubt con­cert in Vancouver.

We orig­i­nally planned to spend a good long week­end there, vis­it­ing Brian’s mom in White Rock, and hang­ing out in and around the GVA. How­ever, when it came down to buy­ing flights (admit­tedly recently — last week), we decided that we needed a day at home for house/yard work reeeeally badly, and decided to devote our Fri­days off to that.
