Moncton has a tidal-bore, which basically looks like a muddy reddish-brown river — only the water level changes up to 7.5 meters, with the tides. Apparently the locals call it the “Total Bore”. It was mildly interesting to us… We sorta wanted to collect some of its mud (we would like to start collecting sand from beaches we’ve been to) — but it looked pretty slippery and dangerous too (also still pouring rain), so we left it. This is us in a covered bridge, overlooking it. Also… They seem to have a thing for covered bridges here…
